Benito Juarez City Hall launches Operation Christmas Holidays / @BJAlcaldia >>>

#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- In the municipality of Benito Juárez, Operation Christmas Holidays was launched in order to ensure the safety and property of the neighbors who go out during this season, which will conclude on January 6, 2025.

Mayor Luis Mendoza issued instructions to redouble security in the neighborhoods of the mayor’s office, through constant patrolling so that the residents of the district feel calm and confident that crime can be contained.

“We want people to enjoy their vacations with peace of mind and confidence, because the elements of Blindar BJ 360° will be taking care of their patrimony, that is our function and we will fulfill it,” assured the mayor.

The Blindar BJ 360° team will conduct patrols in the commercial corridors, mainly around plazas, banking institutions and special attention will be paid to the 113 micro-quadrants in which the district was divided, in order to be closer to citizens, so that they have the confidence to report any irregularities that may occur during this season.

The operation has been carried out uninterruptedly for the past 5 years, during which various security strategies have been implemented to safeguard the physical and property integrity of residents and businessmen during this holiday period.

The Director of Citizen Security and Crime Prevention, César Barrientos Deras, expressed that the staff of Blindar BJ 360° is available to provide 24-hour attention to the population during these special dates.
