#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- In an act of solidarity and support for inclusion, the Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, delivered sports shoes to the members of the Down Syndrome Foundation Veracruz AC, highlighting the importance of providing opportunities for integration and welfare through sport and social commitment.

“It is an effort we make every day of the year, in addition to other programs such as those we have had with you of support,” the executive expressed to them, recalling for example that in past months they were supported with uniforms for their competitions.

“Cachorros de Boca del Río” is made up of young local athletes, who were very happy to receive their new sports shoes, with the Hugo Sánchez Sports Unit as the stage.

Thanks to this type of actions between private initiative and the Government of Boca del Río, the commitment to social inclusion is reinforced, recognizing and valuing the people of Boca del Río.

Carolina Perdomo Escobar, President of Fundación Síndrome de Down Veracruz A.C., thanked the Mayor for his support to all the members of the “Cachorros” team.

“Thank you very much indeed. They have been very supportive of the foundation and it is truly a privilege for us that they believe in us, that they believe in this project that has been going on for nine years,” said Perdomo Escobar.
