#EstadoDeJalisco.- Arturo Zamora Jiménez, Coordinator of the harmonization of the Judicial Branch Reform in Jalisco, announced the dates of the first two citizen forums that will be held to enrich and professionalize this proposal that, once concluded, will be presented by Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro before the State Congress during February.
The first forum will be held on Thursday, January 23, at 4:30 p.m., at the Jalisco College of Notaries, while the second forum will be held on Friday, January 24, at 9:30 a.m., at the National Chamber of Commerce of Guadalajara.
This was stated by Arturo Zamora Jiménez, who also emphasized the interest of Governor Pablo Lemus in having the people of Jalisco participate in these dialogue exercises and make their ideas, visions and contributions known.
The jurist added that the main idea of these forums is to listen to all voices and, from there, strengthen the proposal for the harmonization of the Judicial Branch Reform that the Government of Jalisco will present to the Legislative Branch for its analysis and, if necessary, subsequent approval.
Arturo Zamora Jiménez is the honorary leader of this work. The forums seek to bring together the voices of academics, researchers, specialists, business chambers, local magistrates and judges, legal professionals and civil society organizations, among others.
Zamora Jimenez also initiated today dialogues with the deputies of the Jalisco State Congress, as well as with the members of the local Judiciary.
