Martí Batres inaugurates FOVISSSTE offices in Ecatepec and acknowledges the publication of the Decree forgiving housing debts / @martibatres @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Director General of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), Martí Batres Guadarrama, inaugurated this Thursday a Housing Fund (FOVISSSTE) Assistance Office in San Cristóbal Ecatepec, State of Mexico. This office will facilitate procedures and information requests for beneficiaries in the region, as well as in Tecámac and Coacalco, including teachers.

Accompanied by FOVISSSTE Executive Director Jabnely Mandonado Meza, he emphasized that the strengthening of these assistance spaces is taking place within the framework of the Decree published yesterday in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), through which the Fund will implement housing access programs for state workers, as well as support for nearly 400,000 beneficiaries.

“We celebrate the publication of the decree issued by the President of Mexico, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, which allows for assistance to beneficiaries and borrowers with problematic debts, with debt freezes, debt write-offs, and even debt forgiveness so they can have their homes as soon as possible with complete legal certainty,” he expressed.

Martí Batres noted that the Decree also allows FOVISSSTE to comply with the constitutional obligations of Section B, Article 123, which establish the possibility of building, rehabilitating, and improving housing for workers.

To access these and other housing rights, the general director indicated, members in Ecatepec and surrounding areas can visit the new FOVISSSTE Customer Service Office, located on Isabel la Católica Street, corner of Agricultura El Calvario Street, with business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
