#SICT.- The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), headed by Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, provided 1,023 roadside assistance services on the Federal Toll-Free Highway Network in 30 states throughout the country during the Easter 2025 holiday period, from April 11 to 27.

Among the support provided to users by the SICT’s General Directorate of Highway Maintenance, the most notable services were gasoline supplies and tire changes, with 15.2 percent and 14.9 percent, respectively.

In addition, mechanical problems were addressed, along with water, antifreeze, and oil supplies, flagging, jump-starting, tourist information, and towing of vehicles to a safe place.

«Users were grateful and emphasized the importance of these services,» emphasized the General Directorate of Highway Maintenance. He added that the support was provided by personnel from SICT Centers across the country and by some companies that have routine maintenance contracts.

The implementation of the program, with properly equipped and identified workers and vehicles, was intended to provide better service to users of the Federal Free Highway Network and ensure their safety.
