#Pachuca, #Hgo.- The mayor of Pachuca, Jorge Reyes, was recently appointed to the governing body of the Association of Mayors of the State of Hidalgo in a formal ceremony where he was sworn in alongside other members of the organization. His participation within this structure reinforces the Hidalgo capital’s commitment to collaborative work among municipalities.

As part of his new responsibilities, Jorge Reyes will assume the presidency of the association’s Honor and Justice Commission. This commission’s primary function is to ensure the integrity, ethics, and proper performance of the members who make up the mayors’ group.

The addition of the Pachuca mayor to this governing body is considered recognition of his career and the work he has done leading the municipal government. With this appointment, it is hoped that Pachuca will have greater representation in decisions that impact Hidalgo’s municipalities.
