#EstadoDeMéxico.- As part of the collaboration agreement between the Government of the State of Mexico and the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), the state final of the «Jugamos Todos» School Football Tournament was held, where two elementary schools from the State of Mexico earned their place to represent the state in the national phase.

This competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (SECTI) and the Integrated Educational Services of the State of Mexico (SEIEM), in coordination with the FMF, aims to strengthen the comprehensive education of girls and boys through sports.

The matches were played between representative teams from the state and federal subsystems, in the girls’ and boys’ categories.

The «Benito Juárez» Elementary School, from the municipality of Villa Guerrero, secured its place in the boys’ category after defeating the «General Lázaro Cárdenas» School 3-0. In the girls’ division, the team from Vicente Guerrero Elementary School, located in Texcoco, won 4-2 against Amado Nervo Elementary School, securing a place in the next round.

More than 300 public schools from both the state and federal subsystems participated in this edition, promoting values ​​such as collaboration, equity, and the culture of peace promoted by the New Mexican School.

The national phase of the tournament will take place from June 9 to 13 at the FMF facilities in Toluca, thus consolidating an educational space that recognizes the effort, perseverance, and participation of children in the State of Mexico.

With these actions, the Government of the State of Mexico, led by teacher Delfina Gómez Álvarez, reaffirms its commitment to the physical, emotional, and social development of its students, building a state with opportunities for all.
