#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- As part of her commitment to regional development and the strategic connectivity of Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), Tecámac Mayor Rosi Wong Romero participated in the working meeting of the airport’s Advisory Committee, which focused on metropolitan mobility and connectivity.
The meeting’s objective was to follow up on road infrastructure proposals submitted by the municipalities bordering the airport, in light of the logistical challenges that will arise from hosting the 2026 World Cup, in which Mexico will host the tournament.
The mayor emphasized that AIFA will be one of the gateways for participants and visitors to next year’s World Cup, representing a great opportunity for the development and expansion of Tecámac.
During the session, alternatives were discussed to improve road access to this airport terminal from various regions of the Valley of Mexico, since Tecámac is not only a direct neighbor of the airport, but is also a strategic location to ensure efficient and safe mobility for passengers, tourists, workers, and residents of the entire metropolitan area who will be using the AIFA in the coming years.
