#CuautitlánIzcalli, #Edoméx.- Municipal President Daniel Serrano inaugurated the Jornadas por La Paz (Days for Peace) in the Hacienda del Parque neighbourhood, as part of the National Security Strategy promoted by the President of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

At this event, the Mayor recalled that some years ago young people were called «ninis» for not working or studying, as if that was their desire, when in reality opportunities were closed to them, because universities were no longer built, enrolments stopped growing and they were excluded for not passing an exam.

Finally, he acknowledged that to counteract these effects, in the previous six-year term, the Federal Government implemented the «Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro» programme, which offered scholarships so that young people could stay in school and learn trades.
