#SICT, #México.- The Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, informed that air transportation in Mexico will grow between 3 and 5 percent during the current administration, which is why the agency Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA) will have to continue innovating and establishing solutions for its current and future clients.

“The historic goal for this administration, is to implement SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) Sustainable Aviation Fuel that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the aviation industry from 50 percent to 80 percent, thereby creating more than 3,500 jobs and improving working conditions in the field to obtain sustainability certifications,” he explained.

During the celebration of ASA’s 60th anniversary, the Secretary highlighted that Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares is one of the three entities, along with Servicios a la Navegación en el Espacio Aéreo Mexicano (SENEAM) and Agencia Federal de Aviación Civil (AFAC), on which the Ministry relies to promote the development of the country’s aeronautical system.
