#Tlalnepantla, #EstadoDeMéxico.– With the investment in infrastructure made by the Government of Tlalnepantla de Baz in these almost six months of administration, more and better works are being delivered to the citizens and, at the same time, the face of neighborhoods and communities that were practically forgotten and marginalized by previous governments is changing, said the Municipal President Raciel Pérez Cruz.

The Mayor headed the start-up of several works in the Constituyentes de 1857 neighborhood, such as the rehabilitation of the Parque Lineal in Calle de Las Torres and the paving with hydraulic concrete of several roads; a locality that requires a comprehensive intervention that benefits and dignifies its citizens.

Accompanied by the Edilicio Body, Municipal Government officials and members of the Citizen Participation Councils (Copaci) of that region, he indicated that it will be four months of work and, once concluded, more than 2 thousand people will be benefited in this community adjacent to Mexico City.

«We are going to change the whole environment of this community, it is urgent to give a new image and way of living, because for many years it was lived in abandonment and that allowed not only the public spaces to deteriorate, but also the coexistence and this locality was divided. For this reason, we are here with full determination and we want to make sure that the difference with Mexico City is not noticeable», he emphasized.

Pérez Cruz recriminated that a complex financial situation was inherited, due to the looting of the municipal coffers by the past government. As an example, he detailed that from the Fund of Contributions for the Strengthening of Municipalities and Federal District Districts (FORTAMUN), there is a shortfall of 1.5 billion pesos, which were to pay a debt with CONAGUA, and they took legal protection for this case.

He announced that in the coming weeks they will hold accountable those responsible for this financial plundering; «The only thing that the previous government came to do to our city was to plunder and cause a setback that we are facing today. We have already identified where these deviations that threaten the welfare of the citizens in our municipality took place. It’s a bit embarrassing, but we have to keep moving forward».
