#SecretaríaDelBienestar, #México.– On instructions from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, informed that, from the first hours of the entry of Hurricane Erick on the coasts of Oaxaca and Guerrero, she moved to the area impacted by the hurricane to lead and coordinate the brigades of public servants who came from all the states of the Republic to carry out the House by House Welfare Census and evaluate the damage to homes, crops and businesses.
The Welfare Secretary informed that public servants from the central areas of the Welfare Secretariat and from the Welfare Programs Delegations of all the states are in Oaxaca and Guerrero where the Operations Centers were installed as part of the Welfare Program for People in Social or Natural Emergencies (PESN, for its acronym in Spanish).
Montiel Reyes said that more than 1,000 national civil servants are visiting the affected municipalities to visit homes and carry out the welfare census, as well as placing the label of the census home in plain view of the property.
Finally, the Secretary urged the population to stay in their homes to wait for the brigade of national servants who will arrive to carry out the Census, if possible to have official identification and CURP, as well as to keep informed through the institutional social networks or on the page of the Welfare Secretariat: gob.mx/bienestar.
