#CuautitlánIzcalli, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The Municipal President, Daniel Serrano, attended this Monday the presentation of the Flood Atlas XXXI 2025, event headed by the Governor of the State of Mexico, Delfina Gómez Álvarez; this index is a fundamental document in the prevention and attention of emergencies during the current rainy season.

At the event, held in the municipality of Metepec, the state governor recalled that just last Saturday she visited Cuautitlán Izcalli to supervise the progress in the actions being carried out at the El Ángulo dam, during which she met with the mayor Daniel Serrano.

«This Atlas is going to be useful to the Municipal Presidents and to us to see what we can materialize. We made a tour in Cuautitlán Izcalli, here with our Municipal President, and commented that there has been a great progress from last year to this one.

«In the El Angulo dam, it would be worthwhile to distribute the water in two parts: the water that falls from drainage and all that comes contaminated and, on the other hand, all that is clean water or that could be captured from the rain, and thus we could have two spaces,» said the Governor.

She pointed out that in this body of water one of the 28 permanent Civil Protection camps was installed, which are kept on alert 24 hours a day, in order to attend to any emergency generated by the rains.
