#GobiernoDeMéxico, #México.– The Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT), informed that, to date, 52 thousand 762 direct and indirect jobs have been created with the first works of the National Road Infrastructure Program.

In the morning conference: “Las mañaneras del pueblo”, headed by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, highlighted that 53 thousand 312 million pesos (mdp) will be invested in 2025, while in the entire six-year term it will be 372 thousand 804 mdp.

“This is the total investment in 2025: 53 billion (pesos), generating (to date) 52 thousand jobs between direct and indirect, 372 billion pesos investment 2025-2030,” highlighted the head of the SICT.

He recalled that there are 109 kilometers (km) of continuity works, 2,220 km of priority axes, 16 km in 21 bridges and distributors, 904 km of the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río program, works of the Guerrero Road Program, 2,107 km of artisan roads, 48,653 km of routine conservation and almost 10,000 km of periodic conservation. In addition, as part of the emergency actions after Hurricane Erick in Guerrero and Oaxaca, 173,800 cubic meters (m3) of material produced by landslides and landslides have been removed through the actions of 547 workers with 223 machines, in addition to the revision of 10 bridges.
