#SRE, #México.- The preparatory meeting for the First Ibero-American and Caribbean Parliamentary Forum for Food Security reaffirms Mexico’s commitment to transformative cooperation, focused on people and guaranteeing the right to food.
The executive director of the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), Alejandra Del Moral Vela, thanked and acknowledged the team of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with whom we have worked closely through our country’s flagship program, Mesoamerica without Hunger.
“Mexico has a commitment to food security and compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly with Goal 2 Zero Hunger, and from the government we work so that our country has the necessary conditions, to guarantee the constitutional right to food,” said Del Moral.
He expressed his recognition to Senator Ana Lilia Rivera, coordinator of the Parliamentary Front Against Hunger in Mexico, for the impulse she has given to this space for dialogue and parliamentary articulation.
