In his speech, Menchaca highlighted the support of the Mexican Government with projects such as the AIFA-Pachuca train and the Water Plan; and emphasized that, so far in the state administration, more than 17 billion pesos have been invested to rehabilitate around 7,000 kilometers of dirt roads.

“Public and private works must generate benefits for our communities and our municipalities,” he emphasized. He also recalled that the Quality Control and Materials Analysis Laboratory recently received ISO/IEC 17025 certification, an instrument he made available to federal agencies to guarantee more transparent processes.

The Undersecretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation of the Government of Mexico, Juan Carlos Fuentes Orrala, recognized the Governor of Hidalgo as a key ally in the promotion of innovation, sustainable infrastructure and road improvement; he also urged the attendees to make a collective commitment to the future of roads and cities.
