#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.- Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo emphasized that Salud Casa por Casa has already saved lives thanks to the expertise of the doctors and nurses involved in this program, which has already provided 2,209,541 home visits.

«Lives have already been saved with the Casa por Casa program, people who had very high blood pressure or some other condition, and all the Salud Casa por Casa staff—who, truly, are top-notch. I send them my greetings and a hug, just like the nation’s public servants—immediately took the initiative; they had their protocol for sending them to hospitals,» she emphasized.

He reported that during home visits conducted by healthcare personnel, patients are referred, particularly in emergency cases, to any of the three public health institutions for care: 316 people to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), 37 to the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), and 891 to IMSS Bienestar.

He emphasized that Salud Casa por Casa is a program that has been very well received by older adults and people with disabilities. «There have been more than 2 million visits, and people are very happy,» he added.
