Rehabilitation begins at «Puerto Acapulco»; Mayor Raciel Pérez promotes social work in El Puerto / @RacielPerezC_ @Gob_Tlalne >>>
#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- The comprehensive rehabilitation of streets and walkways continues in East Tlalnepantla, with the goal of improving the environment and raising the quality of life for residents who for years were ignored by the authorities and are now being listened to and cared for by the current Municipal Government.
In the town of El Puerto, Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz kicked off the construction of a walkway and staircase on Aztecas Street (known as Puerto Acapulco by residents). The project will include reconstructing curbs; rehabilitating sidewalks, stairs, ramps, and a retaining wall; installing handrails with recycled plastic; repairing residential plumbing lines in affected areas; painting stair risers and curbs; and rehabilitating the walkway with hydraulic concrete, among other projects.
The Mayor informed the residents that in addition to these actions, other rehabilitation works are planned for the streets and walkways of this community, as well as the remodeling of the entire water system. «I was here a few months ago, during the elected government’s term, and I know this alley well. We will continue to talk with the residents to address their needs.»

On Costa Rica Street, located in the community of San José Ixhuatepec, the pavement will be reconstructed with hydraulic concrete; curbs and sidewalks will be rehabilitated; the drinking water and drainage systems will be replaced in affected areas; manholes will be releveled; speed bumps will be built; and speed bumps will be resigned and painted, to name a few.
In total, a surface area of 625.66 square meters and a length of 52.4 meters will be repaired, which will create a safer environment and contribute to a healthy coexistence among residents.
At this point, Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz stated that they will continue working to transform more towns such as San Isidro, Caracoles, La Presa, La Petrolera, among others, while recalling the motto that became their cause: «Do not lie, do not steal, and do not betray the people.»
