#Acapulco, #Guerrero.- As a result of honest, disciplined administration and sound finances, Mayor Abelina López Rodríguez announced that she will deliver an advance payment of 50 percent of their Christmas bonuses and vacation pay to 7,879 City Hall workers, with an investment of 199 million pesos.

During the weekly press conference «Your President Informs,» the mayor stated that this advance reflects her administration’s commitment to the well-being and job security of its staff.

«Actions, not words; that is the path that has given us many results, and today, together with Secretary Adela Hernández Angelito and the section secretaries, we announced the proportional payment of Christmas bonuses to the workforce. I have always been concerned about the labor aspect because people work out of necessity, and I believe the government should strive to fulfill its obligations. This advance will benefit 7,879 employees,» stated López Rodríguez.

For her part, the secretary of the SUSPEG Central Executive Committee, Adela Hernández Angelito, acknowledged the punctuality and respect for labor rights and emphasized that the announcement made by the president, for the third time, represents a great benefit to numerous colleagues.

“Bonuses, scholarships, incentives for years of seniority, five-year periods, and all secondary benefits have been paid on time. With the municipality of Acapulco led by Dr. Abelina López Rodríguez, labor rights and union achievements have been respected, which are reflected in the list of demands year after year.”
