#EstadoDeJalisco.- To strengthen the productive, economic, urban, and social sectors of the state’s Northern Highlands region, Pablo Lemus Navarro, Governor of Jalisco, led a working tour of the municipality of Lagos de Moreno to announce key projects that reaffirm the state government’s commitment.

The Governor shared that in response to Lagos de Moreno’s trust, he is now returning to fulfill the commitments made to the citizens.

To strengthen technical and scientific services in the region, which are essential for access to justice, and in compliance with the requests of families and groups searching for missing persons, work began on the rehabilitation of the facilities of the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF).

«This is not a government initiative; this is a completely fair and reasonable demand from the families of victims of disappearance and from the groups,» Governor Pablo Lemus stated.

Ten million pesos will be invested in these works, in the initial phase, and in addition to the renovation of existing infrastructure, the number of forensic doctors will be increased.

“The staff who will care for you is also extremely important. The important thing is to find your loved ones, our Jalisco residents. We are not unaware of the pain you are experiencing, I truly tell you,” the state leader shared.

New spaces will be built, such as the expansion of the mortuary refrigeration area, the entrance plaza, the reception area, the waiting room, and the restroom module for users.

One of the agreements reached at the working groups held between search groups, family members, and state authorities during these first months of the current administration is the rehabilitation and expansion of the IJCF (Institutional Court of Justice) offices in the state.
