#Naucalpan, #StateOfMexico.- As part of his general public works plan to renovate Naucalpan, Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez kicked off the comprehensive rehabilitation of 1.4 kilometers of Naucalpan with asphalt and hydraulic concrete. He also installed the replacement of the water mains and new street and street lighting on Molinos de Viento Street in the La Mancha I neighborhood, a site that has not received any attention in decades and is estimated to benefit approximately 145,000 people.
At the event, held in front of the Manuel José Othón Elementary School, the mayor detailed the actions that the Public Works Department will carry out on this street and emphasized, «It is the hallmark of our government. Not only do we carry out quality works, but we also consider solutions that are invisible, such as hydraulic works. Therefore, we are going to replace the asbestos water mains with pipes made of the most advanced materials to ensure the health of all residents.»
In the presence of public servants, community leaders, and auxiliary authorities from the communities of La Mancha I, La Mancha 2, Vicente Guerrero, Buenavista, Flores Magón, and Benito Juárez, and in response to the acclaim of residents, the mayor reiterated that this project will benefit the entire corridor of La Mancha I and La Mancha II.
“This is not an announcement that exclusively benefits one neighborhood; rather, it will benefit this entire corridor. We have also been discussing the issue of green areas and the gymnasium (Comando Tiburón) since before I became president. We have been following this and are very aware of it, and we are going to restore dignity and quality of life to our communities,” he emphasized.

On the other hand, the mayor announced that the Sports Center project is planned to be located in the Parque de las Mujeres Bonitas: «We are going to hand it over to you, neighbors, so that we can have a gym there, fields, common spaces, and recover that green area that is currently in a state of neglect.»
The rehabilitation work on Molinos de Viento Street will be carried out in two sections: Section 1, from Prolongación Diagonal to Sancho Panza Street, will be rehabilitated with hydraulic concrete. Section 2, from Sancho Panza Street to Caballo Clavileño Street, will be rehabilitated with asphalt concrete.
Similarly, it was detailed that the street and pedestrian lighting will be transformed with 56 double-lamp posts, for a total of 112 lamps placed every 25 meters. The drainage work will also include the replacement and repair of drinking water intakes, as well as the sanitary sewer system.
Regarding markings, curbs and pedestrian crossings will be painted, in addition to road signs. These are part of the actions that will be carried out on this street in the La Mancha I neighborhood.
