«Education is a priority»: Daniel Serrano promotes school dignity with the distribution of school supplies in Izcalli / @daniel_ser @GobIzcalli >>>
#CuautitlánIzcalli, #StateOfMexico.- With the presence of Mayor Daniel Serrano Palacios and the Chief Officer of the State of Mexico, Trinidad Franco Arpero, the distribution of school supplies began in Cuautitlán Izcalli. This initiative is part of the «Comprehensive Strategy for the Well-being of the School Community 2025-2026,» promoted by Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, in direct support of families in the State of Mexico.
The event took place at Technical Secondary School No. 36 «Adolfo López Mateos,» located in the Atlanta neighborhood, where free textbooks for the current school year were also distributed. The school community enthusiastically welcomed this effort, which seeks to strengthen academic development from the first day of school.
During his address, Mayor Daniel Serrano highlighted the importance of the three levels of government working together to promote education. He noted that by improving school spaces and providing them with the necessary supplies, progress is being made in improving the quality of education in the municipality.

The mayor also congratulated the students on the start of the new school year and especially recognized the commitment of teachers and administrative staff. He emphasized that their daily work is key to developing children and adolescents with values, knowledge, and a vision for the future.
For her part, Chief Officer Trinidad Franco emphasized that the state government acts with the firm conviction that education is a right, not a privilege. In this regard, she explained that the strategy includes the distribution of the «Peace and Prevention Backpack» and the dissemination of the nutritional calendar, as part of a comprehensive vision for school well-being.
Finally, it was reported that this strategy will benefit 2.8 million students at the preschool, primary, and secondary levels, distributed across more than 19,000 schools in the State of Mexico. The initiative represents an important step toward more equitable, dignified, and accessible education for all.
