The «Strong Hand Against Garbage» program, implemented by the government of Eduardo Medécigo Rubio, seeks to generate a change in the civic culture of the population to keep the City of the Community clean.

According to the mayor of Mineral de la Reforma, this strategy includes financial penalties and fines that will be applied to all those who litter in public streets, in prohibited places, and who leave garbage on the street outside of collection hours and days.

At the same time, he explained that this program is a historic action in the municipality to combat waste accumulation and prevent flooding. The most important aspect is for citizens to report all those who unwittingly and arbitrarily litter.
