Within this framework of intensive coordination, the Head of the State Executive noted the successful restoration of access across all affected municipalities and communities. This crucial achievement was secured thanks to the prompt and resolute action of the Federal Government, the state administration, and the deployment of the armed forces, including the Secretariat of National Defence (SEDENA), the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), and the National Guard (GN). This collaborative effort has been vital in restoring connectivity and hope to the populace.
Finally, Governor Alejandro Armenta shared the official figures for the emergency, deeply regretting the registration of 22 fatalities and over 64 thousand affected persons. He reported that an immediate census was conducted on 11 thousand homes to facilitate access to aid and commence the recovery of lost possessions. Additionally, 162 hospitals were provided with support, 113 thousand direct aid packages were delivered, and air bridges were established using 11 helicopters to ensure the timely distribution of supplies in hard-to-reach areas.
