#Pachuca, #EstateOfHidalgo, #México.- The iconic «Cuartel del Arte» was transformed into a vibrant hub of colour, talent, and hope with the inauguration of the art exhibition “Lo que Mis Ojos Ven”. This exceptional exhibition features a collection of paintings created by girls, boys, and adolescents residing in the Social Assistance Centres of DIF Hidalgo. The event celebrates the power of creativity as a vehicle for expression and transformation for children and young people.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the Chairwoman of the DIF Hidalgo Board, Licenciada Edda Vite Ramos, accompanied by the Governor of the State, Julio Menchaca Salazar. Also present were the Secretary of Culture, Licenciada Neyda Naranjo Baltazar, the Board Secretary, Carlos Martínez, and the Head of the System, Maestro Ricardo Alvizo Contreras, who all emphasised the importance of promoting such spaces.
DIF Pachuca, under the leadership of its Chairwoman Mariana Mayen Lozada, joined in celebrating this significant project, recognising the effort evident in every brushstroke of the works on display. Initiatives like this are crucial for nurturing creativity in children and adolescents, ensuring that art becomes a tool for telling «a story of effort, hope, and transformation.»
The exhibition “Lo que Mis Ojos Ven” reaffirms the commitment of state and municipal authorities to guarantee the cultural rights of children, providing them with dignified platforms to showcase their talent. Art is thus consolidated as a pillar in the reconstruction of social fabric and the emotional development of young people in the region.
