#EducationFirst #SchoolsReimagined —– #Naucalpan#StateOfMexico.- The local administration, led by Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez, has formally concluded the “Transformando Espacios Educativos” initiative, a comprehensive programme delivering paint and waterproofing materials intended to ameliorate and enhance learning environments for more than 20,000 pupils. This significant investment covers 52 federal and state institutions, marking a “monumental step forward” in ensuring “spaces of knowledge” worthy of the municipality’s educational aspirations.

Speaking at Las Américas Primary School, Mayor Montoya Márquez emphasised that the most effective use of public resources is to “always back education”, strengthening “educational infrastructure” and supporting teachers. He reiterated and asserted that the work of educators is among the most honourable contributions to society, as they shape citizens and well-rounded individuals who will define the country’s future.

Recent deliveries reflect this commitment: 55 schools received 190 nineteen-litre containers of interior and exterior paint, and 30 institutions affected by damp and water ingress were provided with 140 cans of waterproofing material—a substantive and resolute effort intended to eradicate environmental barriers that hinder teaching and learning across the municipality.

The programme, implemented by the Directorate of Welfare and Social Inclusion, complements a wider agenda of unprecedented and transformative social benefit initiatives championed by Mayor Montoya Márquez. These include academic stimuli, the “Impulsando tu Salud” health scheme, financial aid for social service and professional practice, and essential food support, forming a concerted and integrative approach to community well-being.

During the November distribution at key institutions such as Xinantecatl Primary, González Bocanegra Secondary, and Tierra y Libertad Primary, María de los Ángeles Sánchez Torres, Regional Subdirector of Basic Education, profusely and gratefully thanked Mayor Montoya for his consistent support, affirming that he is “always legitimising the precept of: more territory and less desk”. Her remarks underscored a principled and steadfast model of governance rooted in community presence.

This landmark initiative underscores Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez’s unwavering dedication to nurturing a thriving and enlightened educational landscape. The programme leaves a lasting legacy, inspiring confidence that Naucalpan’s students will flourish in stimulating and supportive learning environments.
