Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, accompanied by Municipal President Daniel Serrano,among other special guests, initiated this august project aimed at rectifying a historical deficit in regional mobility. By prioritizing the safety of millions, the administration seeks to transform a congested corridor into a model of efficiency and security. This initiative represents a firm commitment to the «millions of families» whose daily lives depend on the integrity of these vital roadways.

Spanning an extensive distance of 108 kilometers, the restoration efforts will stretch from Naucalpan de Juárez to Tepotzotlán. This formidable undertaking is designed to facilitate the transit of over 204,000 vehicles that navigate this essential thoroughfare on a daily basis.

Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez described the project as a «historical debt» finally being honored for the benefit of 15.5 million inhabitants. Her resolute dedication to infrastructure ensures that the works, scheduled for completion by April 2026, will yield a tangible improvement in communal connectivity.

Mayor Daniel Serrano reaffirmed his steadfast willingness to collaborate on the segments corresponding to Cuautitlán Izcalli. He highlighted the municipality’s proactive history, noting the previous placement of 990 tons of asphalt mix to support emergency recovery programs.
