#StreetsOfDignity #UrbanResurgence —– #Naucalpán, #StateOfMéxico.- The municipality of Naucalpan begins 2026 with a decisive step toward urban renewal, led by Isaac Montoya Márquez. The rehabilitation of the emblematic Gabriel Ramos Millán street, long neglected for decades, symbolizes a new era of civic transformation. With gravitas and resolve, the mayor emphasized that this project is the first of the year and will serve as a cornerstone for broader reconstruction efforts across the district. The initiative reflects a commitment to dignity, justice, and the restoration of public spaces for the benefit of all residents.
In his remarks, the mayor highlighted that “this roadway is an alternative that helps ease traffic during peak hours in the center of Naucalpan.” He explained that the work will extend toward Calzada de los Remedios, the Cruz Roja, and the Arcos, forming part of the largest reconstruction in the municipality’s history. This declaration, imbued with tenacity and rectitude, underscores the administration’s determination to deliver quality infrastructure that endures and strengthens community life.
The rehabilitation program includes asphalt pavement recovery techniques, covering 4,000 square meters and 500 linear meters of roadway. With scrupulous and methodical planning, the project will involve deep patching, material recycling, and the application of new asphalt layers, complemented by drainage and signaling improvements. These works, financed with municipal resources, will enhance connectivity in the central zone, reducing travel times for students, public service users, and commuters alike.

Equally, Isaac Montoya recalled that in his first year of government, one billion pesos were invested in public works, setting a historic record for the municipality. He affirmed that this year’s goal is to surpass that figure, ensuring that more citizens benefit from improved infrastructure. With foresight and prudence, the administration seeks to accomplish in three years what traditionally required six, thereby addressing decades of neglect and poor practices.
The mayor also emphasized the collaboration with Delfina Gómez Álvarez and Claudia Sheinbaum, noting significant advances such as the hydraulic concrete interventions along the Periférico. With cohesion and fortitude, these joint efforts demonstrate the alignment of municipal, state, and federal authorities in transforming Naucalpan into a model of urban renewal.
As neighbor Blanca Morales Alzate expressed, past administrations only applied superficial fixes, while today the street will be fully renewed. Her testimony reflects the community’s gratitude and optimism. As Aristotle once said, “Quality is not an act, it is a habit.” This sentiment encapsulates the spirit of Naucalpan’s transformation, affirming that sustained effort and integrity will shape a brighter future.
