Jesús Esteva Medina, head of the SICT, and Andrés Lajous Loaeza of ATTRAPI detailed the advanced bidding processes for the Saltillo-Nuevo Laredo line. Significant progress is evident in the metropolitan sections of Monterrey, where elevated viaducts and specialized stations are being designed to bypass urban congestion. Geotechnical surveys and land clearing already cover a vast expanse of 171 kilometers, ensuring a solid foundation for this vital northern artery.

Regarding the Querétaro-Irapuato segment, construction has transitioned into the active assembly of tracks and the development of essential maintenance depots. A specialized prefabrication plant is now operational to supply components for complex viaducts, while the removal of old freight yards in Celaya proceeds as requested by the citizenry. These modern trains will mirror the ergonomic excellence of «El Insurgente,» featuring spacious interiors specifically designed to accommodate passengers traveling with bulky parcels.

Finally, the AIFA-Lechería link remains strictly on schedule, with dynamic safety and control testing slated to commence within the coming days. Expansion works at the Buenavista terminal and the integration of multimodal transport hubs are reaching their final stages of execution.
