With this maxim in mind, Mayor #IsaacMontoyaMárquez announced the continuation of preventive drainage works across 232 communities in #Naucalpan, ensuring resilience against the upcoming rainy season. The initiative, aligned with the broader Security Strategy, reflects a commitment to safeguarding citizens while reinforcing civic trust. In the midst of this announcement, the municipality also unveiled cultural highlights, including the forthcoming Wine and Cheese Festival. #NaucalpanSafe #CulturalFestival2026.

The mayor emphasized that the Municipal Water Authority (OAPAS) has launched the “Desazolve en Colonias 2026” program, which will clear sediments, refuse, and organic matter from over two thousand kilometers of drainage networks. «This comprehensive effort, supported by advanced hydrodynamic equipment, ensures that communities remain protected from flooding,» the Mayor of Naucalpan explained.

«In parallel, progress continues on the rehabilitation of the Northern Periférico, where hydraulic concrete is being installed along a 3.2-kilometer stretch,» Isaac Montoya pointed out. With 70 percent of the second section completed, the project promises to benefit thousands of daily commuters. The initiative, described as historic, reflects the municipality’s determination to modernize its arterial roads.

Regarding security, the Commissioner commented on recent arrests and strategies, such as the addition of 200 new officers to the Municipal Guard to modernize the force. Furthermore, every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, the sector commanders will visit homes for direct interaction with residents.
