Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is promoting a historic reform at the upper secondary level to eradicate the educational gap under the slogan «My right, my place» / @Claudiashein @GobiernoMX >>>

#HighSchoolWithoutExams #RightToEducation —– #FederalGovernment – #Mexico – In a historic shift for the national education system, Governor #ClaudiaSheinbaumPardo announced a profound transformation of upper secondary education to guarantee universal access. By creating 200,000 new spaces by the end of 2026 and eliminating segregating tests like the Comipems in #MexicoCity, the Federal Government seeks to dismantle the concept of schools in different categories. This strategy ensures that no adolescent is excluded from the classroom based on standardized criteria, reinforcing the principle that “the right to education” is a non-negotiable pillar of social peace. #TransformativeEducation #MexicoMovingForward

Under the premise that “all public schools are good,” the Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgado Carrillo, reported a 10% increase in enrollment through the innovative “My Right, My Place” program. This policy has led 18 states to permanently abandon entrance exams, prioritizing vocational interest and personal connections over scores obtained at age 15. The goal is to eradicate the perception of academic hierarchies that have historically stigmatized Mexican youth.

To strengthen this vision, the Federal Executive has extended the “Our School” program to high school, allocating unprecedented resources to infrastructure and the improvement of distance learning high schools. As the President explained, the implementation of the New Mexican School aims to ensure that technical and general education coexist under conditions of excellence, preventing students from being “expelled” by the system. The goal is for each school to have the necessary tools to offer a secular, free, and high-quality education.

Finally, the government is implementing retention strategies such as the «We Miss You in the Classroom» program to combat dropout rates and reduce youth violence. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo emphasized that the State has an obligation to provide every opportunity for young people to remain in school. By expanding educational opportunities at both the high school and university levels, Mexico is moving toward a more equitable social structure, fully integrated into national development.
