Recent enforcement under Operativo Desconexión produced concrete results: authorities secured three properties and detained five individuals suspected of involvement in extortion. The operation was carried out by the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México in close collaboration with the Municipal Police of Cuautitlán Izcalli. Mayor Daniel Serrano Palacios‘ administration states that these targeted actions aim to dismantle organized networks that take advantage of businesses and households.
