(#DirectPayments – #SocialJusticeMX) *** #SecretariatOfWellbeing, #Mexico.– The Secretary of Welfare, Leticia Ramírez Amaya, announced that the July–August payments of the Pensions and Welfare Programmes will continue across all 32 states of Mexico until Wednesday, July 29. These resources are directed to Older Adults aged 65 and above, Women between 60 and 64 years, Persons with Disabilities, and Working Mothers, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting vulnerable groups and sustaining household economies.

During her statement, Leticia Ramírez Amaya emphasised that “the payments are guaranteed, because honesty delivers results.” She explained that deposits are made directly from the federal treasury to the Bienestar Card of each beneficiary, without intermediaries, ensuring transparency and efficiency. The distribution follows a calendar based on the first letter of the beneficiaries’ surnames, allowing an orderly and timely process.

Recent reports confirm that millions of families have already received their deposits, with Mexico City and other municipalities linking the programme to broader welfare strategies such as food security and healthcare support. According to Leticia Ramírez Amaya, punctuality in payments strengthens confidence in public institutions and consolidates the role of the Secretariat of Welfare as a cornerstone of social policy.

With this calendar in place, the Secretariat of Welfare reaffirms its determination to uphold equity and inclusion.
