The event, which has become a flagship platform for #Entrepreneurs, researchers and investors, seeks to consolidate innovation as a driving force of Mexico’s economic and social development.

InnovaFest has evolved into a national strategy that connects talent, knowledge, investment and public policy. Its purpose is to transform ideas into viable projects, projects into companies, and companies into engines of growth. The initiative has already attracted thousands of participants, hundreds of investment funds and dozens of universities, reinforcing Mexico’s innovation ecosystem.

The Secretario Marcelo Ebrard, accompanied by Governor Mauricio Kuri, highlighted that innovation will be the key to Mexico’s future growth. Recent reports confirm that the demand for technological solutions with social impact has increased significantly, with Querétaro emerging as a hub for advanced industries and educational partnerships. The announcement underscores the importance of InnovaFest in strengthening national competitiveness.

The 2026 edition of InnovaFest will feature more than 3,100 applications for the Premio a la Innovación Mexicana, 75 investment funds and over 700 exhibitors. With specialised workshops, scholarships for postgraduate studies and the delivery of more than 150 awards valued at approximately 20 million pesos, the event promises to be a milestone in Mexico’s innovation landscape.
