Call for writers for the San Luis Potosí Amparo Dávila 2022 Fine Arts Short Story Prize

#SecretaríaDeCultura.- The federal Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (Inbal), through the National Coordination of Literature (CNL), and the Government of the State of San Luis Potosí, through its Ministry of Culture and the Francisco Cossío Museum, announce the San Luis Potosí Amparo Dávila Fine Arts Short Story Prize 2022.

Mexican writers, as well as foreigners with at least five years of residence in the country, may participate under a pseudonym, with a book of short stories written in Spanish or in any language included in the Catalog of National Indigenous Languages (www.inali.gob.mx/clin-inali/).

The work to compete must be unpublished and have a minimum of 80 and a maximum of 120 pages. The theme will be free and, in case it is written in any of the national indigenous languages, the language in which it is written must be indicated and a translation of the text into Spanish must be included.

Entries will be received from the date of publication of the call for entries until Friday, May 13, at 3:00 p.m. (Mexico City time), through the Digital Platform of the Fine Arts Awards: www.literatura.inba.gob.mx/pbal/.
