#GobiernoDeMéxico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador participated in a traditional ceremony held by members of the Wixárika Regional Council and the Wixárika Union of the ceremonial centers of Jalisco, Nayarit and Durango, with whom he pledged to implement a regional plan of support and justice for the communities of these states as well as Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí.

«They will always have our support. (…) We know the importance of maintaining our traditions, customs, languages and cultures throughout the country. Mexico is strong because of that, because of the heritage of its great civilizations. I have always worked in favor of the poor, of the indigenous people, for many years, since 1975», he said.

The Chief Executive reaffirmed that he will continue to support the people with actions for their wellbeing. He stated that the poorest and neediest of the country will be given preferential attention.
