Consultation process for the renewal of delegates and subdelegates concludes in Celaya

#Celaya, #Gto.- Around 9:00 p.m., the Secretary of the City Council, Jorge Luis Gámez Campos, reported the results of the consultation process to the Commission of Government, Regulations and Municipal Justice, concluding the process on behalf of his office.

«I thank the residents of these 51 communities where the consultation was held for heeding the call, making their opinion known and electing those who they considered the most suitable profile to be their representatives in the Public Administration,» said Gámez Campos.

The Secretary explained that once the results are sent to the Commission of Government, Regulations and Municipal Justice, the latter will send the proposal to the Municipal President, Francisco Javier Mendoza Márquez, by means of a point of agreement.

Subsequently, the Municipal President, will make the proposal for the conformation of delegates and subdelegates in the 65 rural communities of which, in 51 will be made based on the results obtained from the Consultation process and in 14 by direct designation; proposal that will be submitted to the vote of the City Council in a subsequent Session.
