For the second consecutive week, 100% hotel occupancy in Veracruz: Mayor Patricia Lobeira

#Veracruz, #Ver.- Mayor Patricia Lobeira Rodríguez affirmed that for the second consecutive week the Port of Veracruz had a hotel occupancy rate of 100 percent, which generated an important economic benefit for the city.

She said that more than 4,500 athletes, accompanied by their families, came to participate in the UCI and 10K races, and to enjoy a clean, orderly, safe city with a great cultural, musical and gastronomic offer.

Athletes from Georgia, Spain, Korea, Costa Rica and Venezuela participated in the races, as well as national tourism from Mexico City, Puebla, Tlaxcala, and cities such as Orizaba, Cordoba and Xalapa, among others.

«I am very pleased that for the second consecutive week we can say that hotels and restaurants were full, within the allowed by the epidemiological traffic light, because that generates economic revenue for our city and employment for all Veracruz citizens,» she reiterated.
