Issste rehabilitates comprehensive dental services for people with disabilities / @drpedrozenteno @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- As part of the rehabilitation and equipment strategy of medical units of the new Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (Issste) in the country, promoted by the General Director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, the rehabilitation works of the operating room of the Dental Specialties Clinic (CED) «Dr. Honorato Villa Acosta», whose objective is to improve the quality of the integral treatment service to patients with disabilities, are progressing.

The director of this clinic, Ángel Chávez Mendoza, informed that as a result of the supervision made by the head of the organism to this place, in October 2022, the rehabilitation works of facilities, furniture and equipment of this unit began, as well as the restructuring of all the areas, with the purpose of optimizing the use of resources and providing dignified and timely attention to beneficiaries.

«We were especially entrusted with the rehabilitation of our operating room, a very important area, since it is the only Issste unit in the country that has comprehensive dental care service for patients living with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other situations of intellectual or psychomotor disability.»
