Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Unánue, launches the payment of property tax 2024 / @JM_UNANUE @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- Like many Boqueños, this Tuesday Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal joined the payment of the property tax in Boca del Río, also extending the invitation to the rest of the citizens to comply in time and form with this municipal right.

«We started strong with the compliant people of Boca del Río, we have interesting data from last year (2022) that more than 81 percent of the citizens complied in time and form and are up to date with their property tax payment, this allows us to carry out more actions and works for the benefit of the citizens themselves.

It is worth mentioning that of the 64 thousand properties that exist in the municipality of Boca del Río, 52 thousand complied with this payment in 2022, hoping that this year the response will be much greater to continue improving the services demanded by the city.

As a result of the property tax it has been possible to carry out works such as the paving with hydraulic concrete of Juan Pablo Segundo Avenue, Independencia and Heriberto Jara Corona streets, as well as the rehabilitation of Sports Units and the daily cleaning works in the city among many other works.

Likewise, regarding discounts, the mayor explained that 20 percent applies to the general public, while 50 percent is for retirees, pensioners, senior citizens and single mothers.
