#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- With a work of excellence with the attention to the population of San Miguel de Allende and constant coordination with other levels of government, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of San Miguel de Allende led the commitments in terms of security.

Following the strategy dictated by Mayor Mauricio Trejo to work hand in hand with the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Guanajuato, the municipality stood out in the development of strategies and actions in the fields of Police Operations, Information Technology, Crime Prevention and Civil Protection.

In order to better serve the people of San Miguel de Allende, its tourists and visitors, the SSC of San Miguel de Allende, led the fulfillment of the 46 commitments in security, which are evaluated every month in all municipalities of the State of Guanajuato.

«This part of being in first place generates a double commitment for us, a double responsibility. On the one hand, the commitment to fulfill the commitments under this theme of responsibility, dedication and willingness of all personnel, but, on the other hand, and above all, the indication of the mayor (Mauricio Trejo), in the sense of the commitment we have with the population and visitors of San Miguel de Allende, that is, our work is primarily focused on the population. To work in accordance with the law, to the law, to give results, to be 100% committed (regarding the municipal president’s indication). There is no tolerance whatsoever for any misconduct on the part of any member of the Secretariat, there is full support and willingness, but also all the forcefulness in terms of the indication (of the mayor), so that we give results, obviously complying with the existing regulations,» said Gabriel Arturo Yáñez, Secretary of Security.
