#Nezahualcóyotl, #Edoméx.- As part of the strategy to strengthen health and to care for the wellbeing of the population of the State of Mexico, the Government of the State of Mexico in collaboration with the City Council of Nezahualcoyotl will carry out the Health Day ‘To Serve’, this Friday, February 9 at the Esplanade of the Municipal Palace of this demarcation, from 09:00 am to 03:00 am and in which various free medical services will be offered, this was informed by the municipal president Adolfo Cerqueda Rebollo.

The mayor explained that during the health day, the inhabitants of the municipality will be able to access free medical services such as: vaccination against Covid 19; dental care; diabetes detection; clinical breast examination; PCR tests; HIV, syphilis and hepatitis tests; psychological care, and they will also be able to bring their pets, since there will also be vaccination of dogs and cats, among other services.

He explained that this first Health Day of the year will be carried out thanks to the close collaboration with the State Government, so medical attention will be provided by the Health Secretariat, the Health Institute of the State of Mexico (ISEM), as well as the DIF and different areas of the municipal government, all of this for the benefit of the population.

He stressed that this event seeks to strengthen the culture of care and disease prevention within the population of the State of Mexico, while reducing the gap in health services, making available medical specialists so that people receive personalized attention of the highest level.

Cerqueda Rebollo made a call to the neighbors to attend the Day, since it is an effort that manages to facilitate access to programs and actions for the welfare of all the inhabitants of Nezahualcóyotl, ensuring physical and mental health.

He acknowledged the doctors and health workers who will meet at the Esplanade of the Municipal Palace, since they are the ones who will provide comprehensive care, in addition to being able to channel those patients who require more in-depth care to the corresponding instances, inviting the population that does not have social security to join IMSS-Bienestar.
