#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- Following the policy of true proximity and attention to basic needs, the Municipal Government continues to make progress in the recovery of water for San Miguel families.

Attending to the priority needs of the people in Laguna Escondida, El Huizachal and Corralejo de Arriba, the Municipal Presidency and personnel from the Potable Water and Sewer System (Sapasma), announced the drilling of new wells as a measure that seeks to solve the problems that the communities face regarding the lack of the vital liquid.

During this work tour, the Municipal Presidency had an immediate response to the request of the inhabitants of Laguna Escondida, by announcing the drilling of a new well in another part of the town, since the water of the current well has high levels of arsenic contamination.

«You are worth it and the children are worth it,» said President Mauricio Trejo as he spoke with the residents of Laguna Escondida.

Continuing with the route, the Municipal Presidency visited El Huizachal, a community that has been without service for more than a year; thus, Sapasma staff announced the drilling of the new well, which will supply the families of this community for the next 35 years.
