#EstadoDeMéxico.- Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez headed the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, where the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) announced the dismantling of the group known as «Los Rayos,» an organization dedicated mainly to car theft in the municipalities of Tultepec, Coacalco and Ecatepec. This was the result of the fulfillment of an arrest warrant against six of its alleged members.

«In the Mesa de Coordinación para la Construcción de la Paz (Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace), we make a team to guarantee the well-being of Mexican families. Every morning we review the security strategies that allow us to move forward in the transformation and achieve a State of Mexico in peace,» stated Maestra Delfina Gómez on her social networks.

The 38th meeting of the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, held in the Guadalupe Victoria Hall of the Government Palace, was attended by Horacio Duarte Olivares, Secretary General of the Government of the State of Mexico; Andrés Andrade Téllez, Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico; and José Luis Cervantes Martínez, Attorney General of the State of Mexico.

Also present were representatives of the Secretary of National Defense, the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR); the State Coordination of the National Guard in the State of Mexico (GN); the Attorney General’s Office (FGR); and the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (CODHEM), among other authorities.
