#EstadoDeMéxico.- As a preventive measure derived from the yellow alert phase 2 of the Popocatepetl volcano issued by the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred), and in order to safeguard the integrity of the inhabitants of the region, authorities from the three levels of government toured the established routes for evacuation of the area.

At the instruction of the Secretary General of Government of the State of Mexico, the head of the General Coordination of Civil Protection and Integral Risk Management met with the Municipal Presidents and representatives of Ozumba, Atlautla, Tepetlixpa and Cocotitlán, Chalco, Amecameca, Ecatzingo and Tlalmanalco.

The tours were attended by members of the National Guard; the Federal Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation; the Secretariat of Mobility of the State of Mexico; the State of Mexico Roads Board; heads of the Coordination of Government of the Valley of Mexico Zone East II; the General Directorate of Government Amecameca Region; the General Directorate of Government Chalco Region, and elements of the State and Municipal Police.
