Civil Society Participation Necessary in this Election, Warns Mariela Gutierrez / @MarielaGtzEsc >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- This Wednesday, in the municipality of Huixquilucan, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, candidate to the Senate for the Coalition Sigamos Haciendo Historia, received the support of more than 30 civil organizations from Mexico, which offered her to promote the fourth transformation in the state, since they considered that this municipality is the example of the forgetfulness of the native peoples.

In response, the standard bearer of the 4T said that it is essential their participation in this process, as society did in 2018 to lead President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to victory, and that now what is sought is to continue the benefits for the people.

Before members of the Council of Civil Society Organizations of the State of Mexico (Coscemex), which brings together representatives of fifty municipalities, he regretted that this territory still has native peoples, but they are totally ignored.

She also questioned that, the State of Mexico is the largest entity in the country (in number of population) and is the one with more needs, that thanks to the indolence of those who governed it for almost 100 years it was relegated.

«There are great things that must be done in several areas, which not only correspond to the government, but also to the civil society», said Gutiérrez Escalante in the meeting that marked the beginning of his proselytizing activities this Wednesday.

She reviewed the achievements and results in her five years as mayor of Tecámac, which she placed as the municipality that invests the most in infrastructure, with 36 percent of its budget, while here in Huixquilucan it is only between 5.8 and 6 percent «so you can see the disparity and inefficiency».

She emphasized that in this municipality -with original peoples totally ignored- there is a traditional popular zone and a residential one, where the great differences are seen. «Yours truly did the opposite and the people of Tecamaquenses recognize me as the best mayor not only of Morena, but the fifth best mayor at a national level, surpassing even state capitals or more important cities. I have been in the top five best mayors in the last three years», highlighted the senatorial candidate of the Mexican people.

She made it clear that she does not buy polls, but works. Nor does she ally herself with delinquency, and added that in her administration she governed with the three principles of the 4T, to which she added one more: to be efficient. The candidate asked for their support to win the race, because «results precede me», and reiterated the need to triumph on June 2 to achieve Plan C and obtain 70 percent of the Chamber of Deputies and thus, transit constitutional reforms for the benefit of the people.
