Cuautitlán Izcalli joins forces to care for water / @KarlaFiesco @GobIzcalli >>>

#CuautitlánIzcalli, #Edoméx.- In the framework of World Water Day, the Municipal Government carried out the cleaning of the water body «Río Cuautitlán» since the beginning of the week, from Chalma Avenue in the San Antonio subdivision to prolongación J. J. Cantú in the Infonavit San Norte neighborhood, also commemorating the International Day of Forests.

The activity counted with the participation of different areas, 400 citizens and more than 50 tons of garbage were collected. In addition, we worked on mitigating the effects of climate change and generating environmental awareness in society, highlighting the importance of preserving the cleanliness of water bodies to prevent pollution.

We call on citizens to continue to be aware of garbage collection and the maintenance of our water bodies, thus contributing to create more dignified and safe spaces.
