Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace follows up on the issue of candidates’ security / @Edomex >>>

#EstadoDeMéxico.- Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, Governor of the State of Mexico, headed the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace in which, among other matters, she followed up on the issue of the security of candidates in the 2024 electoral process.

At the 68th meeting, Mrs. Delfina Gómez stated that she would implement the necessary measures to guarantee that these elections will take place in an orderly and peaceful manner, as well as to provide the necessary protection measures to those who participate in them.

Likewise, it was agreed that the Security Committee for the 2024 Electoral Process, installed a couple of weeks ago at the Control, Command, Communication, Computing and Quality Center (C5), will be the conduit for security requests.

While the Technical Secretariat of the Table provided a format for the elections to present possible security needs to the candidates.
The Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace in the State of Mexico, held in the Guadalupe Victoria Hall of the Government Palace, was attended by José Luis Cervantes Martínez, Attorney General of the State of Mexico.

In addition to representatives of the Ministries of National Defense and the Navy, as well as the National Guard, the National Intelligence Center, the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico and the State Civil Protection.
