Tecámac government organizes film series; includes international films / @MejorTecamac >>>>

#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- During the second half of the year, began the Film Series at the Casa de Cultura «Felipe Villanueva Gutiérrez», in which works of the seventh art, including international films, will be exhibited free of charge.

The Government of Tecámac, headed by the municipal president by operation of law, Rocío Miguel Hernández, seeks to bring culture closer to its inhabitants with different activities in the five houses of culture located in the district.

This program began on Friday, June 7 with the «Asian Film Series», which shows films that address cultural diversity and reflect the daily life of its inhabitants.

On the first day of this film festival, the film «The Lemon Tree» (2008) directed by Eran Riklis and starring Hiam Abss was screened; on June 14, «Paradise Now» (2005) directed by Hany Abu-Assad, which won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, was presented.

To close on June 21, «Waltz with Bashir» (2008), the latter with an 18+ rating, directed by Ari Folman, won the BAFTA, Golden Globe and Oscar for best foreign film.

These film cycles will be held every Friday at 6:00 pm at the Casa de Cultura «Felipe Villanueva Gutiérrez», located at 46 5 de Mayo Street, Tecámac Centro.
