SEG and IMUG train inter-institutional team on Quality in Higher Education, Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination Standards / @gobiernogto >>>

#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- With the purpose of providing normative elements to generate concrete actions for certification in the labor equality and non-discrimination standard, the Ministry of Education of Guanajuato in coordination with the Institute for Women of Guanajuato (IMUG) trained an inter-institutional team for state quality in higher education.

The activities were conducted by IMUG staff, who explained the regulations, requirements and how to meet the obligations and resolved specific doubts of each participant, to strengthen the Quality Management Systems in higher education institutions.

Complementary virtual activities were carried out under the name “For a more egalitarian Guanajuato” with the objective of learning about the regulatory guidelines on labor equality and non-discrimination, as this is a voluntary mechanism to be adopted by higher education institutions.

In addition, a face-to-face workshop entitled “Specialized Consulting Mexican Standard NMX-R-025-SCFI-2015 Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination” was held at the Official Normal School of Irapuato, ENOI, in order to review and verify the requirements to develop actions to comply with them and achieve certification.

Personnel from the following institutions participated: Universidad Politécnica del Bicentenario (UPB), Universidad Politécnica de Guanajuato (UPG), Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Abasolo (ITESA), Unidad Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería, Campus Guanajuato, Universidad Tecnológica de Salamanca (UTS), Universidad Politécnica de Juventino Rosas (UPJR), Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Guanajuato (ITESG), Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal Oficial de Guanajuato (BCENOG).
